Interview with Vertigo, Rlsh of Padua! 
masked heroes who patrol the streets and protect citizens. It is no longer a fantasy but a reality that has more than 300 affiliates. Without superpowers, but with costumes inspired by their personal beliefs, the Real Life Superheroes are a group spread all over the world who tries to launch an important message: we can all be heroes.
Also in Italy there are a few of these superheroes, and one of them works in Padua, to bring help to those in need. It's called Vertigo and we will have put a few questions, waiting to be able to accommodate our PanStore!
Who are RLSH?
RLSH I have a group of people active around the world, wearing costumes inspired by superheroes, make every effort to help their city become a better and safer. RLSH Each of us becomes a kind of personal vocation: there are those who want to make the roads safer foiling petty crimes or helping citizens in distress, and those who work strictly volunteer for the homeless and help the neediest families.
There is a "League of Justice"?
Not really. The U.S. group is officially recognized and enjoy privileges such as donations and the ability to distribute food to homeless people or goods and toys to needy families, in addition to more patrols roads. In Italy there is no officially recognized group, but only a sort of virtual meeting in which to exchange proposals and opinions. E 'was founded by entomological, the first of RLSH Italian, and is called the claims.
Why "Vertigo"?
Vertigo comes from dizziness, vertigo provoked by the great heights. Only from the best you can patrol their city. It is not a physical height that I am referring to, but rather moral height. Under the mask is a man with flaws and contradictions as anyone. But Vertigo is' the form. As such it can not afford any luxury, not weakness. Vertigo must set a good example.
Padua is a tough town at night. You what do you do?
I deal mostly with help and support to homeless and needy, but it is important to specify that I like none of us hold back when it ran into suspicious or criminal situations. We are all trained in self-defense, and is essential for a RLSH. Personally, I think is important, when you run into this kind of activity, first of all notify the police, because they have to intervene when illegal acts occur. If circumstances require immediate action, of course, we act for the safety of citizens, but without never break the law since we are the first to want to see respected
task, that of volunteers who can and does it openly by many associations. Then, what is the costume?
True, there are many heroes who occupy full-time volunteer. But this is precisely the point: it seems an extraordinary thing that takes time and resources, and one thing that maybe you rarely as when you empty a cellar and bring old blankets to Caritas. The costume is to make people understand that we can write very little to be heroes forever, every day. Rather than be a hero among many others, we become the custom with young heroes in relief, with a view to bringing this message. We're like an underlined phrase that catches the eye and is trying to tell you that everyone, with a small gesture can make a difference. With them we want to dress to emphasize our message, not ourselves, otherwise we would face uncovered and using our name.
And this message arrives at its destination?
Over time I realize that people now see me go on the streets are beginning to understand who I am and what I do. But the road is still long. In particular, it is difficult to get to know, understand and appreciate, and ensure that the message reaches its destination without any support. I speak of course media, television and newspapers in Italy, at every interview or article on RLSH bother to ridicule an activity such as ours.
What role can the media?
I call newspapers and television stations to contact me through facebook (Vertigo RLSH) or mail (vertigo.rlsh @ gmail.com) because they are convinced they are the key to closer to the people, to spread our message and help to understand that we can all do something to improve the place where we live instead of just us and our business to turn a blind eye, or worse still indignant and then forget about it in 10 minutes, when things happen that are uncomfortable or worse. Obviously, every proposal should be examined to avoid running into "professionals" who have previously had the opportunity to ridicule for the sake of it.
It is strange to be a symbol, but act in the shadows?
Yes it is. That is why I am fighting to move the activities of RLSH (for those who want, of course) in the light of the sun. If the costume is a symbol, it must be shown, it should be pointed out should be left unleashed in the eyes and minds of people. At night do not come across many people, while during the day our actions would really value a strong and clear message. To do this, however, should really be no synergy with the media and with the forces order to enable us to perform our work in the best possible way and give the best possible example.
As you are moving in this direction?
I got contacts for interviews to newspapers. But I think they are the two things that are helping me and urging:
The first is that in Padua I contacted a guy who is following the time and seeing the RLSH Videologia on my facebook page and on youtube, in which my story patrols and my business, contacted me to become one of us. This gives me immense pleasure, because it means that my strategy is working. Of course, before becoming RLSH need a lot of preparation, knowledge of techniques Defence personnel, time and seriously wants to do something for others, there is sudden RLSH overnight. I'm glad that someone has chosen me as help and guidance to start and I'm happy to help;
The second is a contact from a film studio in Padua that he asked me to be the star of a documentary about RLSH and in particular I am working on. I think that cinema and television are the most immediate means of getting closer to first of all young people and raise awareness, help them understand who we are and what we do, because they are the force that serves the company to change course and get really better. I have made available to the Black Box Film my logo, my Videologia, rounds of shooting I do and my photographs, and are following me with interviews and other footage. It makes me happy and confident that this project is gaining interest from industry sites. This is further proof that people can and want to be involved in the email.
RLSH Do not you think seeing someone may decide to emulate them in the wrong way?
The possibility and by no means unlikely. There may be too young kids who decide to turn his life as a comic. May arise as a violent and shady characters who use the mask to be above the law, or more. This is why I am fighting to create a code of conduct that should rely on the RLSH considered these and be recognized. Furthermore, with Videologia, I hope to clarify what is my business by removing any doubt on my real work, leaving no room for misleading fantasies.
What do you hope for the future?
I do not hope that there are many other RLSH the long term, I hope that in the long run will create a lot of heroes! That people understand that little can do so much to make this world better, even without a costume. Just very little to change things radically. Just really want.
